Government & Law Enforcement
Most carpet cleaning companies cannot enter a secured government or law enforcement facility without an escort. DryCare can. Our CJIS-certified, background-checked technicians hold full security clearance — and have for over 20 years.
What CJIS Means
The FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) division sets compliance standards for any vendor with unescorted physical access to areas where criminal justice information may be stored, transmitted, or processed — which includes virtually every area of a police station or courthouse.
This is not just a cybersecurity requirement. It applies to maintenance vendors, cleaning companies, and any contractor who might walk through a secured area without a law enforcement escort.
Most carpet cleaning companies don't know this applies to them — until a procurement officer asks for their CJIS compliance documentation and they can't provide it. DryCare has maintained this certification continuously for over 20 years.
Our Process
Each DryCare technician is enrolled through the specific contracting agency — not a generic third-party check. Fingerprints are processed through the appropriate law enforcement channel.
CJIS compliance is an ongoing requirement, not a one-time certification. We maintain current credentials and renew on the schedules required by each contracting agency.
We maintain all required compliance documentation for procurement officers. RFQ responses, security addendum forms, and credential verification — prepared in advance.
The same cleared technicians serve each agency, maintaining familiar faces and consistent protocols — not rotating crews who need re-vetting.
